Understanding your calculation
Method, example and limitations
How the calculation works
The embeddable scientific tool adds supported powers, roots, logarithms and trigonometric functions to arithmetic, using the selected angle convention.
Example to check
In degree mode, cos(60) equals 0.5; in radian mode, the equivalent input is π/3.
Before using the result
An embedded display can round results. Check angle mode and valid function domains; unsupported complex values require a different calculation method.
